Tip #7: A Cell Phone Does Not Cut It for Phone Interviews, Adam Scholl
While speaking to my friend on my cell today our conversation was cut short due to my cell phone losing reception. Luckily my conversation was personal not professional because that would have been embarrassing. This is why it is important that you use a land line for all phone interviews and for any phone conversations that you may have with any potential employers. You do not want your conversation ending because of a bad reception. Moreover, use your land line number in your resume instead of your cell phone number. Lastly, make sure that your home voice mail message is professional.
